About Pamela Kelly Communications

When I began teaching "Public Speaking for Professionals" at UCLA Extension 30 years ago, it launched a journey of working with thousands of professionals — in academic institutions, government agencies, and corporations, in the U.S. and abroad.

Whether I'm coaching one-on-one, delivering group trainings or small workshops in public speaking, presentation skills, vocal development, or speaking English with clarity, I create a climate of trust, confidence, and play — while my students develop their mastery of communication skills and effectiveness.

I hold a Master's in Theater Arts from California State University, Northridge, a Bachelor's in Speech Science from Northwestern University and began my teaching career in Voice and Speech for Actors at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and several California State Universities and City Colleges, where I also served as a Dialogue Coach on numerous stage productions.

Before teaching, I was a stage actress based in New York City and appeared as a leading actress in 33 productions.

My approach to teaching reflects 30+ years of study with Landmark Education: honor the individual and their process, create a safe space where joy, laughter, and aliveness occur — and where confidence, trust, and bonding grow naturally, while essential speaking skills are mastered.

Because my coaching and workshops are both effective and enlivening, former students returned again and again, sometimes coming back as guest speakers; and corporate clients and businesses used my services repeatedly over the years.
